Chippa`s Place — a true African experience in the heart of the Boland!

This is an ethnic restaurant with a butchery and outdoor braai area where we offer visitors the opportunity to experience African dishes, such as tripe and traditional barbeque. The restaurant is situated in Mbekweni between Paarl and Wellington and offers visitors an opportunity to explore an African Township that is safe to travel in.

We offer traditional dishes: Pap and stew, sheep trotters, beef stew, grilled chicken, lamb chops, cooked chicken, Tribe (Mogodu)— all served with a choice of pap, rice, samp, dumpling, vegetables or 6 Salads. Dessert: cheese cake, waffle with ice cream, tea, coffee or juice.
