I have had the good fortune, about 12 years ago, to find a career that really gives me enormous pleasure and satisfaction. When old doors of survival closed upon me, I discovered a window open on what I have always loved: books. I decided that I will never be a writer, but that I enjoy working with what other people have written.
I have since become an accredited member of the South African Translators' Institute, completed several editing workshops, and gained widespread experience in the field of translating, editing and proofreading. I work in English, Afrikaans and Dutch.
